Information Development
Our ambition is to design information from a holistic business perspective. It is essential to give customers and end users proper product knowledge. Product knowledge boosts the perceived value of the product. Customers and end users tend to favor products and systems they understand and regard as valuable.
CTI works with concept assignments for information development to complex technical products. The output from the information development may be Customer Product Information (CPI), Marketing Product Information (MPI), information for education, and internal product information.
CTI has successfully executed several assignments for information development with responsibility for the entire chain from needs analysis to information publishing. CTI has experienced personnel for all roles in this concept:
- CPI System Managers, for performing a thorough analysis of the needs and suggesting requirements for our customers.
- Project Managers, for securing successful project execution. Drives projects to fulfill customer requirements within the limits of time and cost.
- Technical writers with a deep knowledge of language, style, and structure. Many of our technical writers have years of information development experience.

- Editors are reviewing the produced information to secure and enhance the level of content, language, structure, and readability.
- Illustrators are used for producing high-quality graphics for the developed information.
- Content Managers, or build responsible, are experts on packaging and publishing of the produced information. The methods may be both customer specific and general, as well as in electronic or printed format.
CTI is developing product information with ambitions and roadmaps for our customers aiming not only to produce the information, but also to develop methods and tools for retrieving the highest possible efficiency within our projects. We develop the tools and ways of working within, for example:
- SGML and XML
- Databases for information storage
- Tools for automatic document generation
- Tools for electronic publishing
- Tools for planning and controlling our project
The information produced in these projects enhance the usability and understanding of the product described. It reduces the overall costs for our customers by securing that correct and equal information is used where applicable.
