Anti-pornography technologies
CTI’s R&D have been involved in developing award winning, anti-pornography technologies since 2002, most notably an industry leading image
processing engine capable of detecting pornographic content in arbitrary images. These technologies were then incorporated into a range of applications
all of which were designed, developed and supported by CTI. The products are distributed internationally by our partner Guardware Ltd.

Internet Services Unit, Saudi Arabia
URL Checker is being used by Internet Services Unit www.isu.net.sa of Saudi Arabia to automatically categorize websites as being pornographic or non-pornographic.
In deployment of the system, these comments were given by Dr. Mishaal Al Kadhi, Deputy Director General of Internet Services Unit:

License Plate Recognition

Malaysian Borders
CARPET has been implemented at all Malaysian Borders crossing points (75 lanes) for monitoring vehicles leaving the country for immigration purposes. It recognizes Thai, Singaporean and Malaysian number plates and records their characters.
Malaysian Police Head Quarters - Bukit Aman
CARPET is implemented at the Malaysian Police Headquarters, Bukit Aman for purposes of tracking vehicles entry and exit.
Asia Pacific University College of Technology and Innovation (UCTI)
CARPET is implemented at the car park of UCTI. All staff and students of UCTI do not need access cards to enter the car park. The car park barrier opens automatically if the number plate is recognized as authorized and parking fees has been paid.

iSmart
University Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS)
University Malaysia Sarawak adopted iSMART to automate and speed up their scheduling and time-tabling process. Prior to deploying iSMART UNIMAS had a team of five full-time scheduling personnel and forty part-time personnel from different faculties, with the scheduling process taking four weeks. After implementing iSMART UNIMAS reduced the number of full-time dedicated scheduling staff to just one person.

UCTI selected iSMART because of it flexibility to adapt to all kind of resource constraints, while giving the best optimized time table that ensures satisfaction of its staff and students.

Microsoft is the leader in providing software services to businesses across the world.
In 2005, the Creative and Multimedia team developed a flash based e-Learning programme that explains Microsoft’s Public Sector Core Training Courses for Education and Government. With the success of that e-Learning programme, Microsoft gave us opportunity to produce its Vista OS teaser video.

In June 2008, the Creative and Multimedia team was given the opportunity by Nokia to produce an e-Learning demo describing the various innovative products of Nokia such as N-Gage, Ovi, Nokia Maps, and Nokia Music store for its operator care personnel.

Juniper helps organizations design, implement, manage and scale their Next Generation Networks (NGN), from core to edge.
In 2006, the Multimedia and Creative team proposed and developed an improved course structure for its worldwide sales force that included resellers and VARs as well as the internal sales force. Subsequently, we developed the interactive product training courses that helped the sales team contend with a much larger product portfolio, shortened time-to-market cycles, and a substantially larger sales channel. These short, sharp technical courses were delivered via Macromedia Breeze solution.
