CTI is one of the few organizations in Malaysia to achieve the internationally recognized SEI CMMI certification for software processes. CTI has been recognized by the Ministry of Education through its award for ‘Excellence in Research and Development’. The Multimedia Development Corporation of Malaysia has also provided multiple development and commercialization grants to CTI.

CTI has won more APICTA and PIKOM awards than any other company or university in Malaysia.
